Teachers understand local and global societal issues and responsibilities in an evolving digital culture and exhibit legal and ethical behavior in their professional practices.
a. Advocate, model, and teach safe, legal, and ethical use of digital information and technology, including respect for copyright, intellectual property, and the appropriate documentation of sources
b. Address the diverse needs of all learners by using learner-centered strategies providing equitable access to appropriate digital tools and resources
c. Promote and model digital etiquette and responsible social interactions related to the use of technology and information
d. Develop and model cultural understanding and global awareness by engaging with colleagues and students of other cultures using digital age communication and collaboration tools

Reflection
All students must be aware of the benefit and dangers of Internet use. Parents should begin to teach their children about digital citizenship or digital ethics when they begin to use the Internet. Legislation has implement laws to protect children and students, but teachers must be able to reinforced digital etiquette and monitor the social interactions of students in their classrooms. Teachers must also enforce copyright use of materials used for assignments, making student aware of the regulations, and teaching them how to properly cite materials to avoid possible issues in the future. Students need to be taught to use other creators or publishers work correctly. Tools like Quizzizz, questionnaires, and survey's can be used to test students knowledge on these areas. Tutorial type video's or YouTube can be converted to Edpuzzless by the teacher. Having students watch videos with inserted questions or comments can bring awareness to the information being presented. These can be retaken or graded, according to the instructors preference.

My future goal
In the future, I plan to continue to be an active supporter for technology tools for my department. When these tools are used correctly in the classroom, or online, they can be tremendously effective. The tools would be a great source to use at any grade level to determine if students understand the material. They can also be used as a graded source for assessment purposes.
